How often do you see that headline? Hardly ever.
One of the priests who regularly goes to the Aurora abortion clinic to pray with the pro-life people there told me he’s so amazed by the sheer fervor present there around the clock, that “with all that prayer, I don’t know how this clinic will ever open!”
As of now, it hasn’t. And won’t in the unforseeable future.
A federal judge Thursday turned down Planned Parenthood’s request for an emergency court order that would allow it to open a new health clinic in Aurora that would provide abortions among other health-care services for women.
“We don’t know when we will be able to open,” Steve Trombley, president of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area, said after the hearing before U.S. District Judge Charles Norgle in Chicago.
Meanwhile, the vigil will continue, around the clock.
